Cheap Car Rentals in Lynfield, Auckland from HK$46

The car was cheap and old but went well and really was good value. Being a hybrid was cheap also to run. I only want a cheap car for getting around in the city. I think they had better cars for people wanting to tour the country. This car didn’t have navigation or a radio that you could tune stations in English. Think it was a second hand import. Pick up and drop off service was prompt and couldn’t be faulted. For me this was great value .

Updated instructions for pick up zone at international airport with all the construction directions were off and couldn't find pick up zone. Also add that customers ring for pickup on arrival not ring for help. Cause u guys don't turn up.

The Uber driver coundn't find the location as signage for the car rental company was unclear. The paperwork and getting the key/fob was fast but as another customer arrived to drop off his car, he was attended to ahead of me by both staff there. Then the rental car was driven up and "There you go" were the last words from the staff. I said, "No hubcaps?" and the staff member just said no and walked away. That was bad. No hubcabs! The car was a hybrid and I had only driven keyless once before for a brief drive before. The staff took no care to make sure I was familiar with anything about the car. All displays were in Japanese so no radio/music during my rental time (4 days). Even though the staff at the drop off was lovely, friendly and helpful, I would not use this rental again.
