My online booking turned into a disaster. The counter agent at pickup in Austin was extremely difficult to hear and understand behind the plexiglass. When I questioned the drop off location on the agreement, we must have had a complete failure in communication because she said it was the downtown Dallas return location, I said "No, it's at DFW". Even after repeating the exchange, mentioning my 7am flight time; she indicated it was the correct location. She then charged the full rental for my prepaid reservation! I questioned that as well, but she insisted it had to be charged to a card in the driver's name. The result=it was not at DFW, no human answered a phone on location but every hold in the phone queue ended up at the 800# line. I've now paid over $600 for a 44hr car rental and will be spending countless hours trying to correct the problem and get any of my money back!!
