I designated a rental car pick up time for 6am. When I arrived the MexRental car station was empty and without a representative while others rental car places did. We ended up calling MexRental, and they told us they would be picking us up, but no one showed. They kept moving us back at forth between to pick up destinations, and told us someone would call us if they couldn’t find us. No one ever called. This went on for an hour. We ended up not getting a rental vehicle at all. It was a complete waste of time and a horrible way to start my vacation.

I rented a car for a 150 which I paid it when I did the reservation and I got charged and additional 400 dlls at the office in the airport which this is a completely scam from both parties

Did my reservations online to avoid a timely transaction, got there and was told my reservation was done incorrectly, which it wasn’t. Asked me to l my existing reservation and then proceeded to want to charge me double the amount.

Rental car given to us with an empty tank of gas. The rental car agency forced us to buy an insurance plan when our travel credit card included rental insurance in Mexico. The insurance cost twice as much as the rental car itself.

I never got my rental. They were asking for more than $400 to include an insurance should be offered as a suggestion. I canceled right there and still waiting for my initial money I paid to get reimbursed. That changed all my plans. This is so frustrating and annoying. The rental company Green Motion should not be using intermediaries that evidently are tricking potential renters. The price quoted should be all in (with exception if you want further insurance or to reduce the premium). This was highly frustrating and very unfair.
